Awesomely said “an excuse is an excuse to an excuse”…I rate it 10 in the scale of 10. People have excuse for everything in life. JUST EVERYTHING! An apology is also sometimes ruined with an excuse. Isn’t it?
Senior/boss: why are you late?
You: mam/sir I was stuck in the traffic?
This is the everyday and all time excuse (which is quite acceptable)……even it’s the most frequent excuse of my father which is off course acceptably rejectly by my mother :P
My favourite excuse during my schooling days-
Mam: where is your homework?
Me: Mam, I did my homework but I forgot to bring my HW copy (home work copy)
Mam: Get out of the class!
Hushhhhhh my excuse never worked (except 2ce or 3ce) …Poor me!
But the whole idea of writing this post is to understand these following lines:
“ I want you to be happy ....
I know I messed up every thing
I should have stuck to what I wanted...
But was not able to see u in pain....
So I took a decision...”
is it an apology or an excuse? I have no clue! I can just conclude it as “I gave you pain because you wanted it”. Now why on earth anyone will beg for pain. It’s difficult to understand but again it’s an excuse to an excuse! It’s well said that “never ruin an apology with an excuse” (repetition from the 1st paragraph) !
