Rs.60-Rs.90/kg? it’s a OMG (oh my God) expression ! Now onion will not make you cry when you cut it. Wana know why? Because now onion will be more effective for another sense organ. Your ears…..well the swelling price of onion will surely make you cry…lol.
It is said that the price of onion determines the fate of the government. Onion is giving a tough time to our sardarji (PM, Manmohan Bichara). Smuggle of drugs or weapons were easy affairs but now smuggling of onion from our neighbor’s field (Pakistan) is getting sturdy. Sharad Pawar became a sabji wala as he is calculating the sky rocking prices of onion and vegetables every passing second.
One of my uncle said, “it is better to eat fish or meat instead of using onion”. Honestly, one who earns knows the value of every rupee. The galloping price of things is a whip for a person who earns 10-15k/per month and have a family to support. We talk of a developed nation but we don’t know the pros and cons for the so called developed nation “the rising India”. Census shows till date there are people who earn maximum rs.20/per day (in Orissa) and if they have to pay Rs.60 to Rs.90/kg onion, you can think what will be the story of onion tragedy.
Note- now onion, a rich people commodity………
