ISLAMOFOBIA……nothing but a contamination!

The word ISLAMOFOBIA doesn’t exist in encyclopedia but almost became a fact which is engulfing the world with a rapid speed. In this context I genuinely Thank NDTV crew of the program “left right and centre” with anchor Nidhi Razdan. The issue of “islamofobia” was raised by them and the talk included many senior journalist and scholars from India as well as US. The question ‘what is islamofobia?’ certainly deserves an answer.

NEW YORK – A Florida Pastor, Terry Jones had threatened to burn the Muslim holy book on the anniversary of the Sept. 11 attacks on the World Trade Center nine years ago.

WASHINGTON – The US President Barack Obama have stated the Quran Burning in Florida as an awful act which is not a right way to show hatred. White House officials say they may try to contact the pastor directly to get him to change his plans. Said Obama: "Look, this is a recruitment bonanza for Al Qaida. You could have serious violence in places like Pakistan and Afghanistan”.

Quran Sharif is not only a religious book but it is believed that it was written with GOD’S OWN HAND. The sentiments related to this cannot be compared or measured. First of all every individual should understand that “NO RELIGION TEACH BLOOD OR HATRED”. Every religious book have only one conclusion in common “HUMANITY : be a human first”……

Very strange: Al-Qaeda follows Quran’s norm……..it is actually a funny statement that I ever heard of. People who cannot understand Arabic are being fooled by this kind of statement. In many parts of the world people overlap two words i.e. “TERRORISM” and “ISLAM”. I think after few generations people will think the synonym of ‘terrorism’ is ‘Islam’…..which is pathetic!

This is what Islamofobia is. It is growing with a rapid speed and in an uncontrollable manner. Thanks to the President of US who understood that religion is not the concern here. If the burning of Quran would have taken place, it was sure to create tragic ends in the world.

At any cost religion is not responsible for anything but it is only the process of miscommunication between masses and few strong and wrong leaders in the religious group. These strong and wrong leaders are responsible for the contaminating Islamofobia!
